INVITATION TO PREQUALIFICATION OF

CONSTRUCTION COMPANIES

SAVE THE CHILDREN is the world’s leading independent non-profit organization for children.

Save the Children, hereby wants to pre-qualify Contractors for construction and completion of different infrastructures by furnishing all the necessary labor, materials and equipment at its different Field Offices in various Regional States and at the Country Office level; and hereby invites competent contractors to submit a sealed tender.  

Bidders with category of  GC/BC/WWC/WWD-7 and above may obtain the Pre-qualification document including TOR, Bid Data Sheet in which you will get detail information, Checklists ,and Technical Evaluation Criteria and SCI Policy, for the aforementioned prequalification from Save the Children Country Office at Addis Ababa and all the Field Offices at different Regional States  as per the detail address indicated   in the table below from February 22^nd ,2021_ March 14^th, 2021 between 8:30 -11:40 AM and 1:30 – 4:00 PM during working hours.

Submittal documents duly filled must be accompanied by:

• Renewed business license for the year 2013 E.C.
• VAT registration certificate
• Company profile as per the Pre-qualification details.

The Pre-qualification document being completed with requested details and supporting testimonies must be put in  sealed envelope, clearly marked by “Tender Title and Ref. No., bidders name, address, legal Stamp” and submit document in one (1) original and One (1) copy for both, (different envelopes) all separately sealed to Save the Children to the address stated in the table below in Addis Ababa and Field Offices on March 15^th, 2021 before 11:40 A.M.

Only applicants who present the most responsive document to the details of the pre-qualification document shall be listed as the prequalified contractors for any of the Save the Children International’s Ethiopia office construction bid as per the category in the bid document.

The Procurement Committee will open all Pre-qualification application documents at a date and time of its own discretion.

Save the Children reserves the right to accept or reject the entire or partial part of this bid/pre- qualification application.  

Annex: Below is a table of the Save the Children International- Ethiopia Country Office and Field Offices address (see the next page) from where interested bidders to collect Pre-qualification document.
