TENDER NOTICE FOR CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL, GI PIPES,&FITTINGS, HDPE/PVC PIPES & FITTINGS, IRON PRODUCTS, TOOLS & HARDWARE AND WOOD/TIMBER FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT

Location: Oromia Region (Bale Zone, Negelle and Wonchi) Afar Region, Somali Region and Addis Ababa (Country Office).

COOPI – Cooperazione Internazionale Ethiopia funded by multiple donors is seeking to engage service providers to enter into Long Term Agreements (LTA)/ Framework Agreements (FWA) to provide provision of mentioned materials for COOPI Ethiopia Area Offices for the period of one year and intends to apply a portion of that grant to payments under this contract. No party other than COOPI shall derive any rights from the grant or have any claim to its proceeds. Under no circumstances or for no reason whatsoever will the donor entertain any request for indemnity or payment directly submitted by the humanitarian organization’s contractors.

2. 3. Description of the contract

Long Term Agreements (LTA)/ Framework Agreements (FWA) to provide provision of  construction materials, GI pipes&, fittings, HDPE/PVC pipes, Iron products, Tools & Hardware and Wood/Timber  for COOPI Ethiopia Area Offices for the period of one years as you can find on  the tender dossier.

4. How to obtain the tender dossier: The tender dossier is available from the Contracting Authority by contacting the following mail addresses: [email protected] or  [email protected] or by collecting in person from COOPI office in Addis Ababa, Yeka Sub city- Woreda 8 - House New.

• Tender collection date:  19 February 2021 to 03 March 2021 from 8.30 AM to 5.30 PM Monday to Friday.
• Deadline for submission of tenders:  03 March 2021 @ 5:00 PM to COOPI office in Addis Ababa, Yeka Sub city- Woreda 8 - House New – Ethiopia.
• Tender Opening date: 05 March 2021 @ 10:30 AM.

  Each bidder should submit two bid documents (Financial and Technical) separately.

General Terms of contract

• Bidders should be licensed to do such jobs in Ethiopia as specified in the tender and shall furnish copy of renewed Business license for the year 2021 (or 20103E.C), VAT Certificate & TIN Certificate
• Price quotation must be before Vat.
• Quotation of product must include: full description of the items, unit of measurement, unit cost per, date, stamp, signature, validity of the offer and remarks if any.
• The bidder is expected to examine all instruction, forms, terms and specifications in the bidding documents prepared for this tender from COOPI Office and free of charge.
• Tenders received after the closing date and time in any form will be automatically rejected.
• A representative of each company can be present for the opening of the envelopes with their company’s ID card and/or supporting letter from their company.
• Following the bids opening, assessment / evaluation will be carried out by COOPI Technical personnel.
• COOPI- Ethiopia reserves the right to reject all or part of the tender. COOPI– Ethiopia reserves the right to select more than one service provider, and /or select only part of a candidate’s bid.
• The present tender request is not an order and does not engage COOPI on any legal ground or financial commitment
