Guidance for interested bidder

UN Women uses an Electronic procurement system- (E-procurement) which is an online system with the aim of obtaining simple, secure, transparent and efficient way of managing UN Women procurement/solicitation processes, by reducing time and cost for both the organization and vendors/suppliers. The E-procurement portal is designed with embedded UN Women procurement policies/solicitation processes. This ensures UN Women procurement rules and regulations are followed at all times, existing controls are exercised, and our procurement system is fair and transparent to our vendors availing fair and equal opportunities.

The E-procurement portal is specifically designed to accommodate requirements of the UN Women. It has a vendor portal whereby a Vendor/Supplier is required to register (create its unique profile) under the vendor portal to be able to participate in procurement/solicitation processes that may be available from time to time. This is very critical for you as a vendor/supplier as UN Women will be dealing with suppliers/vendors through the vendor portal. Thus, suppliers which are not registered will have limited or no visibility of opportunities as solicitations will be dispatched via this portal.

Interested bidders must register into the vendor portal (https://ungm.in-tend.co.uk/unwomen/aspx/Home) to be able to access the bid documents. Guidance on New Vendor Registration process (which guides vendor/supplier through registration steps) can be requested by sending a request email to: [email protected]; [email protected].
