Feed the Future Ethiopia: Livelihoods for Resilience Activity (GRAD II) is a five-years USAID funded project implemented in three regions – Amhara, SNNPR and Tigray - by a consortium of five development partners led by CARE-Ethiopia – ORDA, ASE, REST and SNV. The project is seeking a proposal to implement capacity building activities and establish long term business partnership between the large scale Livestock feed processing factories and small scale feed processing enterprises in the three provinces.

CARE Ethiopia is seeking eligible & competitive enterprises for production and marketing of affordable improved formulated feeds from locally available feed resources through franchisee long term business partnership in order to strengthen the feed supply chain in Tigray, Amhara and SNNPR province. The overall objective of the proposed solution is to increase the income of target households from livestock enterprise or issues identified by Market system analysis for meat and Poultry value chain especially on quality and availability of improved feed just by improving the productivity and quality of eggs and meat products through increased use of commercially formulated concentrated feeds.

Hence, all interested bidders can collect the RFA (Request for Application)/technical proposal template in person from the reception unit at CARE Ethiopia office starting from July 23, 2019.

All sealed technical proposal should be submitted as per the instruction provided in the RFA document on or Before August 12, 2019 at 4:30 PM to CARE Ethiopia, Reception Unit (Addis Ababa, 22 Mazoria behind Lex Plaza Building, near Ha’geez Cultural Restaurant).

CARE Ethiopia reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid.
