Provide 4WD Vehicle, Truck, Dump Truck on Rental basis

Invitation for bid

Bid reference No: AFD-012/2018

1. Action For Development(AFD), an Ethiopian Residents Charity, invites interested bidders to provide 4WD Vehicle,  Truck , Dump Truck on Rental basis for  implementation  of different projects in SNNP and Oromiya Regional states at different woredas of Borena, Guji, Bale  and South Omo zones;
2. Required quantity and duration of the contract: Required quantity is based on AFD’s demand during the implementation of the projects throughout the one year period in 2018 - 2019 with the following types:   

Lot 1. 4WD Vehicle .

 Lot 2. Trucks for transporting materials from Addis Ababa to different project areas

Lot 3. Dump Truck

1. The bidders may submit a tender for one lot, more than one lot or  for all the lots. Tender offer  partially within one  lot will not be considered.
2. Financing from:  Different Donors;
3. Eligible bidders are invited to take part in the bid upon submission of copies of renewed trade license, VAT &  Tax payer’s registration certificate;
4. Bidding will be conducted through LOCAL OPEN TENDER procedure;
5. The bid document shall be purchased from Action For Development, P.O.Box 19859, Tel 011 662 59 76, 0939655371, against payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 200.00 during office hours.
6. Interested bidders may obtain further information from  Human Resource and Administration Department of Action For Development, Tel 011 662 59 76/0939655371, Fax 011 662 55 63;
7. All bids must be submitted to Action For Development, P.O.Box 19859, Tel 011 662 59 76 , 0939655371,one original marked “original” and one copy signed in the same way as the original and marked “copy” by stating the contract title –4WD Vehicle,  Truck , Dump Truck Rental service, Bid Ref No –AFD-012/2018 with sealed envelope at or before 10:00 am on   18 July 2018. The technical and financial offer must be placed together in a sealed envelope;
8. All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond amounting ETB 10,000.00, in the form of C.P.O. Bid bond in any other form shall not be acceptable
9. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders and/or their official representatives who wish to attend, on 18 July 2018 at 10:30 am;
10. Failure to comply with any of the conditions indicated above will result in automatic rejection;
11. The Organization reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
