INVITATION FOR BID
Siraro Child & Family Development Association (Siraro CFDA), a non-profit humanitarian organization registered as Ethiopian Resident Charity organization working for the life improvement of disadvantaged children, youth , families and communities.
Siraro Child and Family Development Association has plan to construct:-
Project: Girls Sanitation Room
Location: Hunde-gudina primary school in Rophi town, Siraro Woreda, West Arsi Zone, Oromia Region
Project time:- 60 calendar days
The organization invites wax-sealed bids from eligible and competent bidders of category BC/GC 7 and above for the construction of one Girls Sanitation Room Hunde-gudina Primary School, Rophi town for supplying the necessary labor, material and equipments.
All bidders must have;
A trade license and construction service certificates valid for 2011 Eth Calendar.
License indicating category of contractor;
VAT and TIN registration certificate;
Valid certificate of registration from the relevant ministry;
Testimony for financial turnover of the preceding fiscal year verified by external auditors report;
Testimony of liquid working capital verified by bank statement in the last three months;
The offer Envelope shall be submitted as follows
7.1 The original and a copy of the offer document shall be sealed in separate envelopes and marked “Original Proposal” and “Copy of Proposal” respectively.
7.2 The bid security shall be sealed in a separate envelope marked “Bid Security”
7.3 The technical and financial offers shall be sealed separately
7.4 The envelopes in 7.1 and 7.2 shall then be sealed in an outer envelope marked “Technical and Financial Proposal”
8. The bidder should present work experience in areas of similar nature. Failing to do so will result automatic rejection of the bidder.
9. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 1% of the total Bid Offer. The bid security shall be payable on demand to the employer, and must be a Certified Payment Order (CPO).
A complete set of bidding documents can be collected during office hours (8:30AM – 5:00 PM) starting from the date of announcement in the Reporter Newspaper for 10 calendar days from the address shown below upon payment of nonrefundable fee of Birr 100.00 for full set of the bidding documents.
Siraro CFDA will not be responsible for any expenses incurred by bidders in connection with preparation and delivery of bids. Siraro CFDA reserves the right to cancel part or the entire bid.
Bids must be received on or before 9:00 AM in the morning of the 11th calendar day after the first date of announcement on the Reporter News paper.
Bids will be opened on the same day at 10:00 AM in the morning in the presence of bidders or their representative who choose to attend on Siraro CFDA meeting hall.
Bidders are instructed to fill, sign and seal all the forms of the bid documents. Failure of this instruction may result in automatic rejection.
The employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive-in formalities, advertise for new bids or to proceed and do the work otherwise as may be necessary for its best interest.
