The International Rescue Committee is a US based Non-Governmental International Organization working on the provision of vital support to people affected by war, displacement or natural factors such as drought. In line with the above mission and objectives, IRC undertake water supply, sanitation, hygiene programs for the community in SNNPR and currently IRC started implementation of a Community Led WASH intervention in Aleta Wondo, Dara Otilecho, Dilla Zuria, Bule and Loka Abaya Woredas of Sidama and Gedio Zone in SNNPR. With this intervention, IRC in partnership with its donor called charity: water has a plan to undertake development of unprotected springs in these intervention woredas to ensure supply of potable water supply for the community.
The IRC now invites sealed bids from all eligible bidders that are qualified, technically competent and have valid license for the current Ethiopian FY 2011 to supply Local Construction materials (sand and coarse aggregate) to be supplied to different sites of the intervention woredas; Aleta Wondo, Dara Otilecho, Dilla Zuria, Bule and Loka Abaya Woredas. Bidding will be conducted through an open competitive tender process.

Bid should be submitted to IRC Hawassa field office mentioned above on or before 10:00 AM June 13, 2019. Late bids will not be accepted. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at 10:30 AM June 13, 2019.
The International Rescue Committee reserves the right to reject any or all part of bids.
