The Land Investment for Transformation (LIFT) programme is a six and a half year programme that has been developed by the UK Department for International Development (DFID) and the Government of Ethiopia with the objective of improving the incomes of the rural poor, through support to the Government of Ethiopia in the implementation of second level land certification (SLLC) covering 14 million parcels, introduction of sustainable land administration systems, and the use of the Making Markets Work for the Poor (M4P) approach to leverage the economic benefits of increased tenure security.

LIFT programme now intends to procure various items from the local and international market: -

Therefore, LIFT would like to invite potential suppliers tosupply furniture, camping materials, stationery and printing of various forms and templates. Accordingly,

      Lot 1: -                        Computer tables, writing desks and chairs

      Lot 2: -                        Camping materials (mattress, pillow and sleeping bags)

      Lot 3: -                        Stationery

Lot 3-b: -  Other materials

Interested bidders can obtain a complete list of bidding documents (list of items and specifications) from LIFT Head Office Procurement Unit by presenting their renewed license, TIN and VAT certificates. The bidder shall provide one original and three copies of the bid documents in separate envelopes. The envelopes should be marked as “Original “and “Copy” and clearly mention: -

All bids must be presented in a wax sealed envelope in person to the LIFT programme office on or before May 27/2019with below listed documents; -

•    Company Profile

•    Renewed License

•    TIN and VAT Certificate

•    Special License (if any)

4.   Bidders are required to submit a bid bond of Birr 50,000.00 for each lot in terms of certified bank payment or bank guarantee valid for 60 days after final submission date.

5.   Bidders can bid for one or all LOTs. However, it is not permitted to bid for a specific item in any lot.

6.   DAI-LIFT Programme reserves the right to accept or reject all or parts of any bid.
