MSH’s mission is to save lives and improve the health of the world’s poorest and most vulnerable people by closing the gap between knowledge and action in public health. This will be achieved by mobilizing providers in 405 previously unengaged private clinics in the region through an innovative private-public network model that combines low-cost blended learning for providers, performance incentives, and an electronic specimen referral system.Blended learning was reported to have reduced the cost and minimized work time lost   without compromising the training quality. This has been used for training health workers in public sector through the MSH implemented USAID Challenge TB Project’s support to ALERT hospital. This has benefited the health workers and the health system. However, its acceptability and utility was not evaluated in Ethiopian private health care provider setting.
