Marie Stopes International Eth would like hire a qualified consulting firm to evaluate the effectiveness of VCATtraining on quality of care

Evaluation of values clarification and attitude transformation training

Re-advertised

Marie Stopes International Ethiopia (MSIE) is a non-governmental and non-profit making organization that has been providing family planning (FP) and other sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services in Ethiopia since 1990. MSIE provides safe, quality services that are friendly, and comfortable places to visit, and believes in a client-focused approach to service delivery. MSIE believes that every woman has the right to access a high quality, confidential, client-centered safe abortion or post-abortion care (SA/ PAC) service which respects their rights and choice.

MSIE uses values clarification and attitude transformation (VCAT) workshops and training to ensure that our providers and staff are able to offer destigmatising, non-judgemental, supportive and respectful care to women and girls. We have recently redeveloped a VCAT toolkit, which can support provider values clarification for abortion and adolescent SRH services. MSIE would like to evaluate the effect of VCAT training workshops on provider behaviors(including clinical staff and community mobilisers) and attitudes towards abortion and adolescent SRH services, as well as the effect on client experience, accessibility of care and quality of care. The evaluation will compare repeat training with one-off training.

Therefore, for this study MSIE would like to hire a qualified consulting firm to evaluate the effectiveness of VCAT training on quality of care in MSIE service sites.
